We understand that system integration can be a delicate process which should not compromise the existing IT infrastructure in place.

A good example of this is a client of ours who needed a new network port wired up, although a cable had originally been run in for the port some while previous upon later inspection it was found that it had been terminated by a telephone engineer into their phone system patch panel! We had to dismantle the phone patches from their rack housing, locate the cable in question, cuts ties in the present wiring management system, remove the cable connection from the patch without compromising the other connections in the patch, replace the patch panels and finally re-terminate the network cable as planned.

This mission critical procedure had to be carried out very carefully with the utmost care and attention being shown by the engineer involved. Analysis provided the required project structure . The project focused on a need for completion out of business hours and carefull testing and handling skills to avoid damage and possible downtime to the existing phone system. The whole process took a matter of minutes and ran smoothly without error.

The most vital part of an item of ITC hardware or software is the configuration. This is the nitty gritty of how things are going to run and when. Many Items often have their own programming syntax which is a computer language in itself and requires skilled personel to operate. Proper configuration is vital and always tantamount to successful deployment, after all that firewall is switched on but wont work if it isnt configured.
