Flying Moth Ltd. Saves 30GB of itunes downloads from a dead laptop
30-08-07 We save hundreds of £s worth of music for a happy customer
One of our residential customers had approached us with regards to carrying out some work on his HP laptop computer which was in a state of internal disarray from the Internet. We visited the customer and carried out spyware removal with a number of viruses being removed from his machine. When we visited the customer again a week or so later we found that his teenage kids had been using the machine on the Internet, unfortunatly the machine now didnt start and the OS was totally corrupt. As the customer had a rather large collection of Itunes downloads built up over a long period of time he was very concerned about saving the files. We took his machine away for a few days where we then were able to restart his machine and save all his music plus some family photos, we reinstalled his computer and all his drivers, plus Itunes, DIVX, winrar, Winzip, JAVA, antispyware, anti-virus, quicktime, realplayer plus a host of other free goodies. Upon presenting the customer with the newly freshly installed laptop he was over the moon as not only did he have a fresh install but we'd also saved and copied back his entire music library of over 30GB! We then setup networking and a backup location onto another machine in house incase there was ever another problem.
